The beginning of my life made me keenly aware of the importance of the life-giving benefits of touch and connection for survival, growth, calming, and thriving. I was born prematurely at the end of the 6th month, weighing only 1lb 14oz. I spent the first two months of my life in an isolette hardly being touched and held. Therefore, touch became a vital and primary language of communication for me, and I translate that awareness into all the services I provide. Whether through touch, focused attention, or a calm, soothing voice, I thoroughly enjoy connecting with clients and students to guide them to let go of stress and tension and move into deeper levels of connection, relaxation, and calm.
My clients and students have included people from all backgrounds and walks of life: stressed working professionals, athletes, students, teachers, doctors, nurses, health care workers, lawyers, therapists, IT professionals, families and their pets (yes, I am trained in canine massage!), artists, actors, dancers, performers, the terminally ill, the recovering well, and the newly born.
In addition to my private practice and on-line classes, I have had professional affiliations with chiropractors, Boston’s finest hotels (The Four Seasons, The Ritz-Carlton, The Fairmont Copley Plaza, and others.), Boston University, Northeastern University, Wells Fargo, gyms and fitness centers, Brigham and Women’s Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit (N.I.C.U.), Fenway Health, The Hospice at Mission Hill, and more.
